Premium picks

8th Sword (Berserk)

The strongest Raid pilot carry when it has time to ramp takedowns and convert long waves into Berserk uptime.

Shadow

Adds top damage plus rewind and Magical-team support, which gives Raid teams both boss pressure and emergency control.

Puppet

Marks dangerous targets and adds rewind, making it one of the best support slots for boss-heavy Raid clears.

Budget and fallback picks

Salmon Sorcerer

Control support that keeps waves inside kill zones longer when the team already has a main carry.

Reaper (Released)

A strong long-wave option when enemy variety and crit support can feed its scaling loop.

Team roles

Main carry

Use 8th Sword, Shadow, Cursed Student, or another published high-scaling DPS as the damage anchor.

Boss amplifier

Bring Puppet when available so the team can focus damage into the most dangerous target.

Control

Slow, Stagger, Stun, or rewind buys extra cycles before leaks or boss movement break the setup.

Economy

Use economy only when the raid length lets the extra Yen repay the occupied slot.

Trait priorities

  • Unbound: Best default for top carries that need raw scaling and attack uptime.
  • Forsaken: Strong on crit-scaling or copy-scaling setups when current equipment supports it.
  • Primordial: Better on control or support units when the goal is more frequent stall windows.

Compare broader reroll guidance in the Traits guide.

Avoid these mistakes

  • Do not fill all six slots with damage Units; Raid clears need at least one control or support answer.
  • Do not build around banner odds or raid drop rates without checking the live panel.
  • Avoid Burn-only plans unless Flame Emperor and Hollow are both available and upgraded enough.

Source confidence

This guide combines current public mode guidance with the published Unit pilot. Treat banner pools, drop odds, mode rotations, and reward cards as live-game facts that should be checked before spending limited resources.
