First-hour checklist

Work down this short list in order. Checkboxes stay only in this browser view and are not saved or sent anywhere.

Beginner route, step by step

  1. Redeem currently verified codes

Do this: Open the three-dot menu, choose Redeem Codes, and use active codes before spending Gems or rerolls.

Why: Current codes provide launch resources, but disputed or stale strings are separated so a new account does not plan around an uncertain reward.

  2. Complete the opening Beginner's Path

Do this: Work through the first Beginner's Path chapters and collect Beginner Tickets before ordinary Gem summons.

Why: The current beginner guide identifies these chapters and the Beginner Banner as the strongest early resource route.

  3. Build a role-balanced first team

Do this: Keep one reliable damage carry, crowd control, and an economy Unit instead of selecting only by rarity.

Why: Story and later payload or boss content reward coverage, control, and affordable upgrades as well as raw damage.

  4. Clear Story on Normal, then Hard

Do this: Progress through Normal first, then repeat unlocked stages on Hard and collect separate first-clear and star rewards.

Why: Story is the documented opening progression mode and supplies Gems, Trait Crystals, evolution materials, and map unlocks.

  5. Evolve one long-term Unit

Do this: Inspect the recipe, farm its Unit Trial and Sprites, and invest in a carry or support you expect to keep.

Why: Evolution is a major power spike, while spreading scarce Sprites across temporary Units delays the first complete evolved kit.

  6. Enter Expeditions and Raids at their milestones

Do this: Start Expedition at level 20 and prepare for Raid at level 25 after the core team can clear Story consistently.

Why: These modes open later resource loops and endgame drops, but pushing them before the roster is ready can slow basic progression.

Beginner mistakes to avoid

Mistake: Spending Trait Rerolls on a temporary starter Unit

Correction: Save them for a Secret or an evolved Mythic you expect to keep; verify the current trait table before chasing a rare roll.

Mistake: Using Gems before finishing the Beginner's Path

Correction: Collect and spend Beginner Tickets first, then use the Standard Banner only when the launch roster still needs core roles.

Mistake: Building six damage Units with no control or economy

Correction: Add a crowd-control Unit and, for longer modes, a farm Unit so carries can stay on target and reach upgrades sooner.

Mistake: Evolving every available Unit at once

Correction: Finish one recipe for a long-term carry or support before splitting colored and Rainbow Sprites across the roster.

Mistake: Treating a community tier as a permanent fact

Correction: Read the kit and mode notes, confirm the live game version, and expect balance changes to move editorial placements.

Use the live game as the final check
